Ivan Doig Archive - Diaries
The diaries collection of the Ivan Doig Archive contains daily records of Doig's activities including minute details on writing work, meals, people encountered, and travel itineraries dating from the early 1970s until a few months before his death in 2015. The diaries were typed on 5” x 7” pages with the intention of storing them in small ring-clamp notebooks, and for many years supplemental material such as speeches, letters, newspaper clippings and other ephemera were punched with the same notebook holes and kept with the diary pages.
