The pocket notebook collection of the Ivan Doig Archive contains 3" x 5" spiral notebooks that Doig was known to carry as a convenient way to record information throughout the day.The notebooks contain personal and professional contacts, expenditures both personal and professional, travel itineraries, lists for chores and projects around the house, general to-do-lists, and any other inspiration that related to Doig's writings or personal life. Generally written in blue ink, he was careful to check off tasks as he saw to them.
